The LUMAGICA light park – the only one of its kind in South Tyrol – opens its gates for the third time on 19 November 2026 and takes visitors into a magical world. Under the new motto “Journey Through Time”, the gardens shine in poetic splendour, merging past and present in a very special way.

A sparkling trail with fascinating light installations, interactive stations and impressive sound-and-light shows turns the walk into an enchanting experience.

Inspired by the life of the Austrian Empress Elisabeth, a journey of light through time unfolds, letting the magic of Merano shine in a new light.

Swarovski crystal and Christmas are inextricably linked, and Dutch designer Tord Boontje proves it by crafting enchanting fairy-tale worlds from crystal. From November 11, 2026, to February 6, 2027, his mythical creations drift across the expansive, artfully illuminated winter park landscape.

‍Tord Boontje’s shimmering Crystal Star sits atop the elegant ten-meter Christmas tree, the radiant centerpiece of the Grand Plaza at Swarovski Kristallwelten. Step into a world full of wonder and experience the magic of winter.
