Michael Kienzer was born in Steyr, Austria in 1962. He attended the Kunstgewerbeschule arts college in Graz and later studied sculpture under Bruno Gironcoli at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. His distinctive style has earned him numerous accolades, including the Art Austria Award in 2013.
