Nature's Piano

Alois Schild was born in Hall in Tirol in 1954 and is a trained vehicle technician. Fascinated by metal as a creative material, he went on to study under Bruno Gironcoli at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
His sculptures and large-scale works now feature in high-profile locations around the world, including the Lucerne Sculpture Park in Switzerland. They are regularly on display at festivals like Tollwood in Munich. By participating in the Venice Biennale in 2015, Alois Schild secured his place among Europe's foremost artists.
