Feiersinger created this sculpture especially for the garden at Swarovski Kristallwelten (Swarovski Crystal Worlds). The artist crafted an object consisting of two forked tree branches that slide into each other. The white-coated surface conceals a stainless steel core; the bronze pipe enhances the space. In contrast to the artificial coating of the branches, the bronze surface changes slowly. The work originates from the analysis of crystalline structures.
Werner Feiersinger was born in Brixlegg, Austria in 1966 and studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht. Feiersinger lives and works in Vienna.
